Chesca out, Megan Young in “US GIRLS” GETS A MAKEOVER ON ITS THIRD ANNIVERSARY

Sunday, April 26, 2009

“Us Girls” will undergo a cool change as the most fashionable show on TV turns three this Sunday (Apr 26) on Studio 23.

The country’s leading lifestyle magazine program will be unveiling a fabulous new look and an equally fab new host in Megan Young, via a sizzlin’ summer grind party at the posh Manila Hotel.

Megan will join Iya Villania, Chesca Garcia-Kramer, and Angel Aquino as they party with the hottest celebrities and guest performers at poolside in this season of heat.

Armed with gorgeous looks, youthful charm, and spot-on fashion sense, Megan is expected to bring her own flavor to Studio 23’s hit TV show.

The young actress, who first wowed the public with her oozing appeal and style playing “Marcela” on ABS-CBN’s “I Love Betty La Fea,” was chosen to pinch hit for Chesca who’s now approaching the final trimester of her pregnancy.

It will be a bittersweet farewell for the doll-faced TV host, who has become very close to the staff and fans of “Us Girls.” In fact, she is one of the most active members of the program’s multiply site http://usgirls23.multiply.com, where she regularly posts pictures and interacts with fans. Chesca promises a fancy comeback in the future.

On “Us Girls,” Megan will help Iya and Angel in giving the modern Filipina the best tips and features on fashion, beauty, fitness, food, gadgets, and travel.

“Us Girls” has been credited for giving its viewers the chance to experience the wonderful features of the program first hand. From time to time, lucky fans are invited to appear on TV for free makeovers or to bond with their favorite stars.

The program has also gone beyond TV with bazaars, parties, and fashion shows organized for the public. On its third year, “Us Girls” is ready to give triple the fun and delight as we “learn it, live it, love it” in 2009.

Don’t miss the hottest and hippest anniversary special ever of “Us Girls” with Iya, Chesca, Angel, and new girlfriend Megan this Sunday (Apr 19), 7pm on Studio 23.
