Balls Channel, the home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), will air the fastest sellout in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history-- UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin--on June 13, 2010, Sunday, at 10:00am. UFC 115 will be aired live from the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
UFC fans in Vancouver set a new record for the fastest sellout in history, with UFC 115 selling out tickets within 30 minutes of going on sale breaking the previous record set by UFC 83. UFC 115 will be the fourth UFC event to be held in Canada, following UFC 83, UFC 97 and UFC 113 and the first UFC event held in British Columbia.
A fighter with dynamite in both fists and a champion that’s known around the world, Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell has faced the best and beaten the best. With an amazing 10 knockouts in the UFC, with seven consecutive KO's in one stretch, Liddell is considered one of the greatest strikers in UFC history. Rich “Ace” Franklin, the former UFC middleweight champion that holds 12 wins in the UFC, has has moved up a weight class and holds memorable wins over Wanderlei Silva, Matt Hamill, Jason MacDonald and Nate Quarry.
